This handbook seeks to raise awareness among utility managers, decision makers, and other stakeholders of the benefits of developing robust O&M strategies for all existing hydropower plants and those under development.
On this basis, the World Bank teamed up with different representatives from the hydropower community to prepare the companion report titled Operation and Maintenance Strategies for Hydropower— Handbook for Practitioners and Decision Makers.
